I found Casa Kua-Kan to be well-designed and beautifully appointed. There was never a problem with the reservation, the accommodation or any aspect of the stay. The Spanish-speaking staff were super-accommodating of anything needed during my stay. The beach and village around Playa Larga are tranquil for sure.

The setting with a panoramic view of the beach and ocean was fabulous. For our short time there, 3 days, the remoteness was wonderful. For a much longer stay, that could be an issue in terms of transportation (no buses) for shopping.

personal muy amable y gentil, encontré toda la tranquilidad y paz que necesitaba, el mar a un paso, la alberca estaba demasiado fria sino eso hubiera hecho el plus. la comida deliciosa. Hotel en playa, mar abierto. Estilo rústico No tv, no sonido. Para llegar no es sencillo, al final camino de terracería, esta un poco escondido. No tiendas ni servicios cerca. Recomendable para descansar del ruido y la ciudad.

A place close to the beach

Nice place. Staff dont speak english and they dont try to learn at least the basic (few of them with 10 years). I translate for them. Like an staff you know more places to visit and things to do than a tourist. If a turist stay in my place i do my best to they enjoy. STAFF Aover there dont care about you.

There was no one there when we arrived, even though they had received a call 15 minutes before we were on the way. After nearly 1hour of waiting someone turned up without even an apolog and did not seem to care wether we were there or not. So we left and would "NEVER" return!

Relaxing. IT was nice to be away from the noise, tv, radio and everyday hassle. The ocean breeze and the crash of the ocean waves were music to my ears and food for my soul!!! WE are already making plans to go back year!

Poor lighting in the room.No bathro door, so no privacy when using the toilet.The one meal we had was terrible.The location is way out of town, felt isolated.Wi Fi was poor. Great beach but they recommend you don't swim in it because of the big waves.Make sure you bring your bug spray.If your looking for peace and quite , this is the place. On a scale of one to ten we would give it a five.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Es muy tranquilo. If you're not looking for a lot of distractions, this place is perfect. No bar, no TV, just the ocean and palm trees and a pool. On a beautiful stretch of uncrowded beach a few miles from town, perfect for just lounging around. The hotel offers breakfast and lunch but no dinner. Family-style restaurants within walking distance are great, but don't stay open late. It's not hard to get into the nearby town which offers a lot of activities, like snorkeling, scuba, kayaks and catamaran rentals, etc. Excellent restaurants and some nightlife in town, including a restaurant also called Kau Kan, owned by the same owner as the hotel.

El hotel es excelente para ir a descansar

El hotel es muy buena opción para ir a descansar e ir a una playa y hotel que tiene pocos huéspedes, eso es lo mejor del hotel, la playa que es muy bonita y con poca gente. Solo podrían mejorar cosas como poner internet y un poco más de luz en las noches. Sin embargo todo estuvo bien durante nuestra estancia.

Quiet location....quaint hotel, nice pool.

A truly quiet location on a fabulous beach. Be prepared for no staff who can speak English but are wonderful people. The dining option stops at 6 and there is no wifi although it can often be stolen from next door. Bars about 500 yards away on the beach.

Buen espacio para mantenerte alejado del mundo

Excelente atención, pero hace falta mejores alimentos, es importante que aclaren lo alejado que están d lugares s¡donde uno pueda comer al igual q informar q están frente a mar abierto y no es aconsejable meterse. Aún así es un excelente lugar d verdear descanso, relajación. Nos dio la opción a mi pareja y a mi de entablar platicamos que ya extrañábamos. Y cualquier persona de ese pueblito dispuesto a llevarnos o ayudarnos por lo alejado, eso fue una gran experiencia.
