It was beautifully redesigned with a very rustic and warm feel. We loved the morning breakfast spread. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the spa every day and loved the traditional Swiss dry sauna! The hotel was located in a perfect spot to walk to either mountain base and easily access the ski lifts. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Nice modern boutique style hotel with Switzerland chalet style decor. We stayed in the junior suite with the balcony and Matterhorn view, and the room was amazing and the view was breathtaking. The hotel was walking distance to everything, 5 to 10 minutes. We went to the spa one evening and spent some much needed time in the hot tub after walking 25,000 steps that day. The spa area was really nice and clean. The hotel also provided a free shuttle to and from the train station which was nice. Breakfast was great as was there. Homemade bread and baked goods in their bakery. Their drinks were great as well especially their Pine spritz. I researched alot of hotels in Zermat and I’m glad that I selected this one.
