Nice bathtub. Strong and warm shower. Beds were comfy but pillows too soft for my liking. Balcony was nice. But 2 most important points. First, the owner Marianne was a perfect host. Very helpful, accomodating, friendly and approachable. She made the stay into a 5-star holiday. Second, the buffet breakfast provided was very homely. Small set up but you have breads, spreads, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, ham, mushrooms, hot drinks, juices, cereals, fruits. Didnt expect the breakfast spread to be so comprehensive. The bathroom was big and the breakfast was sufficient. We got a little worried that we were going to miss our train because we left our luggage after the checkout but there was no front desk when we were about to get back our luggage. Friendly staff accommodating us with breakfast for early departure. One negative, we had rooms 105 and 205 with windows right above the entrance of the bar. The noise of people coming and going kept us awake. The bar did not close until 2 am. The hotel is in a great location only 10 minutes walk from the station and right in the centre of the village. My single room was very basic but nice and clean and the continental buffet breakfast was sufficient.
