Beautiful lakefront Casa del Lago on Lake Roesiger
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous lake front property with well thought out seating and gathering areas. It's tucked back behind the tree line and quite private. Simple and warm interior. Bring provisions!!! There are no nearby convenience stores or grocery stores. The small convenience store up the lake is rumored to open in August."
Jaybird Cabin- Tiny home with huge riverfront & mountain views!
8/10 Good
"Incredible views with tons of amenities. The tiny house had everything you could need. Very clean and cute inside. Expansive deck and wonderful sights from the hot tub. We loved that this property was pet friendly and our dog could wander through the trees in the front yard. Like other reviewers, we found the ac unit to be quite noisy but we were so grateful to have it in the bedroom. The only negative is that the staircase to the river is different than the it appears in the photos. It’s very narrow steps with a chain handhold and divert steep. River access is overgrown and thick with sticker bushes. We were not able to bring our dog down to the river which was the whole reason for booking this property. To be fair, river access was not mentioned in the description but it appeared as such in the photos."
Beautiful Riverfront Getaway in the Cascade Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"You can’t buy these surroundings at any price. The sound and view of the river is magnificent. The cabin is well equipped, comfortable, and homey. We’ve stayed maybe 6 or 8 times before… it’s my wife’s favorite place in the whole world."
"Such a cute place! All the words: charming, cozy, rustic, peaceful. A lovely escape in the woods. Clean, not spidery in the least, just some skeeters so do what you need to if you want to relax outside. Please do note the reviews that remark on the size of the space. It is very small, very cramped. You won't want to try to take a large suitcase up the spiral staircase to the bedroom, and even if you do there is literally no place to put it. The "loft" is more suited for storage of blankets than an actual place for a small child to sleep. Pro tip: go backwards down the staircase and hold the handrail for a safer descent. The half bath upstairs has no ventilation, unless you open the bedroom window, and the toilet is about 3 feet from the end of the bed. The bathtub, while luxurious, takes up a third of the living room. There is no kitchen to speak of, just a small microwave and tiny sink. No stove, no oven. Doordash and Uber Eats will deliver to this location! If you have mobility or balance issues, the double plank walkway and stairs up to the cabin might not be for you. Carefully evalute before booking. Likewise, the stairs to the 2nd level are spiral and super narrow. The photos are real! The place is like a storybook! But they are taken from the very best angles and might make the space look roomier than it is. I think the other cabin with the waterwheel is slightly bigger - and if anything I've written gives you pause, you should check out that option."
"Very tidy motel, no-frills, but very clean, comfortable bed and check-in was a breeze! Plenty of parking and had dining and coffee options within walking distance ."
"I decided to book this cabin as a last-minute solo retreat from Seattle for a few days, and I’m so glad I did! There were so many ‘luxurious’-feeling perks like the sauna, the largest tub I’ve ever seen, steam shower, bidets on all the toilets, electric blinds, AC, soundbar on the big TV, and more. The kitchen is big and roomy and I cooked most meals on the grill outside as I listened to the river and peered at the mountains. All of the instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. While you can sometimes hear neighbors and the train nearby, it largely feels very secluded and tucked away given the size and setup of the property. It worked great by myself, but I’d also love to come back with a few friends. Highly recommend!"
