"The host communicated well throughout our stay. Unfortunately, there were significant issues with the water system. Upon check-in, there was little to no water pressure, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. The following day, the host attempted what appeared to be a permanent repair, but we were once again left without water service during the process.Overall, the experience was acceptable, but for the rate being charged, having reliable access to water is a basic expectation. While we appreciate the host's efforts to address the issue, the repeated inconvenience impacted our stay and should have been resolved before guests arrived."
Beautiful Riverfront Getaway in the Cascade Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"This was my fifth stay in this truly awe inspiring paradise despite the long drive from Oregon. The wonderful local owners think of everything. The village of Index is very walkable, full of history, beauty and good people."
"An historic inn that has recently been skillfully renovated. Staff was super helpful with ideas about what to do. Food was fabulous - both for dinner and breakfast. Note: dinner service ended early (maybe 7 or 7:30) so check before going."
"Convenient hotel for my one night stay. Staff were pleasant with my quick efficient check in. Room was clean and comfortable. Food offerings were various standard continental breakfast."
"The cabin was a perfect location for our hiking trip. Close to North Cascades National Park. The cabin was very cosy and in a quiet area. We loved to listen to the creek and we drank our morning coffee and relaxed in the evening."
Jaybird Cabin- Tiny home with huge riverfront & mountain views!
8/10 Good
"Gorgeous location with amazing views from the back deck and hot tub! We were disappointed with difficulty finding the river access because the check-in pamphlet directions were vague and not up to date. The cabin is cozy and definitely for only two people. Overall, beautiful and cozy place with all necessary amenities!"
