Beautiful Riverfront Getaway in the Cascade Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"David was an amazing host. He went out of his way to provide the best possible stay for us, evening dropping off laundry detergent so we could wash our rain-soaked clothes! His home was spacious and relaxing, and I highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area. We look forward to our next getaway to his cabin soon!"
"We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including lots of cozy blankets. Perfect for a family get away."
"Beautiful and cozy Inn! The shared bathroom was not a problem as I was the only one using it as other reviewers pointed out. It was a really nice and clean bathroom. I knew about the train noise and there were a few that went by until 12am and then one at 4am. If the Inn offered a noise machine or earplugs that would go a long way. My room (#2) was also facing the tracks so that didn't help. When I checked in, I was told there would be coffee and pastries available at 8am, but the young lady at the register first told me there were no pastries on Fridays then perhaps because I looked puzzled, she corrected herself to say that she had not yet put them in the oven. Oh well. Nonetheless she made a really tasty latte! I would consider staying here again."
Seventh Heaven - Stunning views, beach and swimming w/ hot tub at Stevens Pass
10/10 Excellent
"Overall excellent stay! I just caution others to be prepared for winter weather if booking between January-February. I was originally frustrated with the water pressure in the shower (very weak flow) but by Sunday the water pressure was affected in all of the faucets too. Turns out the pipes had frozen for several properties in the area! We managed to get our dishes clean with our remaining bottled water so that we could do our part of cleaning. But the kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pots/pans. Not much to do in the area if you're looking to dine out so would recommend bringing your own food. The cabin was super cozy and just the setting my partner and I needed for a recharge after a super stressful couple months. All bedrooms are basement level so if you can't manage stairs very well, keep that in mind. Gorgeous view and a nice private beach. Didn't use the hot tub because of the cold air combined with with low water pressure in the shower, I didn't want to be freezing after using the tub without a nice shower to hop into.We plan on returning in the spring or summer to enjoy more of what this cabin offers. Thank you hosts!"
