Beautiful Riverfront Getaway in the Cascade Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"My favorite place to stay!! Always cozy for any weather situation, clean and hot tub is ready for soaking with the best views in town. I've noticed upgrades every stay!! The only thing wrong is having to leave. I keep enough pictures in my Texas home to plan the next visit as soon as possible with a very welcoming host."
"From the minute we walked in the door and spied the rushing river beyond the deck, the Oh’s and Ah’s continued throughout our stay. We loved the cabin and views so much that we didn’t leave it until the 2nd day.The cabin was immaculate and well stocked. Being sensitive to chemicals, I especially appreciated the natural soaps and fragrance free sheets. The bed was so comfortable. The scenery was inviting and gorgeous. The long private road in this gate-secured community had many potholes, but driving very slowly made it manageable. It was lovely looking out at the remaining snow on the mountains."
Jaybird Cabin- Tiny home with huge riverfront & mountain views!
8/10 Good
"Gorgeous location with amazing views from the back deck and hot tub! We were disappointed with difficulty finding the river access because the check-in pamphlet directions were vague and not up to date. The cabin is cozy and definitely for only two people. Overall, beautiful and cozy place with all necessary amenities!"
"The front desk was deserted and when called a man grunted something indicating he'd be there momentarily. He was. And then he checked us in without a single word, very slowly. The card machine was barely running. The property is rough and seems to be largely occupied by more permanent tenants. Outside it smells a little of the ashtrays provided. Room was large, with a small sitting area and kitchenette with a microwave and a full size fridge. Television set up was weird, right in the middle of the room. Air conditioner was *filthy*. The entire floor sloped. The toilet wasn't sealed to the floor. The king bed was in the corner of the room and the pillows were strategically placed to hide scuffs (and maybe dirt?) feom.what obviously used to be some kind of frame or headboard. Bed was pretty comfortable but I did not trust the linens based on the rest of the property. No bed bugs but severe staining of the mattress (to be expected but there didn't seem to now be a protector of any kind between the fitted sheet and the mattress). And there was no smoke alarm - the wiring had been covered up by a round of masking tape, presumably from painting, but never replaced.
All for $130 which felt outrageous. I couldn't even bear to sleep there. I left at like 3 am when I realized I was too uncomfortable to sleep."
"Miracle Lodge is one of our favorite places to stay. The location is perfect, great views, and the sound of the river is relaxing. The house is terrific as well with plenty of amenities for your stay. Host is great and always there if you need them. "
River Front on the South Fork of The Stillaguamish River
8/10 Good
"The cabin was very cozy. Furnishings were older but worked well. The river views were beautiful! The only thing I was frustrated with was the super sensitive smoke detector that went off every time we cooked, even with all the windows and doors open and fan going. Otherwise, it was great!"
