"I have stayed at this hotel three times now, in the last three years, coming to Nagoya on my yearly Japanese vacation. The hotel is located in Sakae near a lot of shopping and restaurants, while being within walking distance of attractions like Osu Shotengai shopping street and Osu Kannon Temple. The breakfast buffet is first-rate with a lot of Japanese options as well as Western fare for the unadventurous. The staff is extremely polite, kind, and helpful as well as being very professional. I stayed on the executive floor this time so I had access to the executive lounge with free drinks and snacks as well as free health club access. However, I have tattoos so was unable to use the facilities. I think my only complaint would be to relax the standards for tattoos, but I understand the policy due to the clientele they serve so I was not too bent out of shape about it. There are different cultural rules and expectations in Japan and I happily follow them while I am here since I am not an overzealous traveler that expects the world to bend to favour my Western ways and behaviours. I come to Japan to experience their culture and not enforce mine."

"Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location as it is above the Nagoya Station for taking trains or buses, a lot of food choices in nearby areas. Our room is clean and spacious with a view of the city and the train station, you can hear the trains going in and out of the station but not noisy or annoying. It has a coin laundry with 6 washers and dryers (two in one machine) which also accept wireless payments including IC card so it is convenient. It can also connects thru its website to see real time status of availability of the machines and time remaining for your load. We will definitely stay here if we visit Nagoya again."

"The hotel is smaller, more fancy. 10 min walk to Nagoya station. There’s a scent they use in the hallway, I think it’s eucalyptus? Not a fan. We appreciated the beds being made daily and the fresh towels, but it was not necessary. A little wasteful to change out the towels every day. The breakfast buffet was a set menu with 4 choices, it was good, simple. They do not have laundry on site. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The neighborhood was quiet."

"Check in process with smooth with the front desk helping out. They will clean your room or bring fresh towels when asked by using the magnet posted on the door. They have 3 laundry machines and each machine washes and dries at the same time in that one cycle — and it dries your clothes very well. You also don’t need detergent, the laundry machine has a built in detergent that will fill. The front desk is very helpful when you need help — they helped me hold my bags on the last day because their self storage area was not working for me. It’s just 10 min away from Nagoya station and just right downstairs is a Lawson!"
