Our room was comfortable with a king-sized bed (especiallythe pillows really worked out for me!), the staff was polite & professional. I love one of the restaurants "Ume no hana". The only problem we had was when you place the card into the wall for power it turned on lights and certain plugs and the air. We could not turn lights off or the air would go off too. Other than that our stay was great. Having stayed before I can compare the room furnishings and can say they are not created equal. Mattresses are very hard as is the pillow. Quite typical of Japanese hotels. Amenities ok. This room was dated, rug needed cleaning, and the bathroom floor was tilted and felt like a cruise ship bathroom. Not impressed as the room needed major updating. Breakfast has two choices; American or Japanese with self-serve juice/coffee bar. Breakfast could also use updating as it’s the same choice year after year. All in all, it’s an average hotel.
