Strictly no parties or large groups permitted. (This home is surrounded by close permanent residents). This beautiful property is privy to the exquisite panoramic ocean and rural views nestled amongst rolling hills - serene living at its best. The spacious wrap-around deck is the jewel in the crown and the ultimate place to rejuvenate and get back to nature. Enjoy front-row seats to spectacular sunsets and revel in the Fleurieu Peninsula and all its pristine beauty. Welcome to your coastal entertainer. A welcoming, single-store holiday home set on approximately 5 acres right on the edge of Normanville, The relaxing and inviting decor, will allow you to unwind with all the creature comforts you could need, designed to bring the outside in. The home is absolutely perfect for that relaxing breakaway and was designed with comfort in mind. The floor plan is practical and spacious. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 3 living areas and can accommodate up to 13 guests comfortably, which makes this enticing property appeal to families and groups alike - all whilst offering those stunning views. The open-plan set-up of the main home along with the separate ‘weekender retreat’ allows friends and family and children to socialise and commune but also have their own space. The seamless indoor/outdoor flow offers an easy connection for outdoor dining and easy supervision of the children. In the heart of the home, you will find the gorgeous open-plan living and entertaining area. The kitchen boasting stone benchtops comes fully equipped with stylish crockery, glassware, cutlery, modern appliances, and a lovely island bench with ample space. A comfortable lounge area is adjacent to the kitchen with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors opening out to the extensive balcony, making a seamless transition to alfresco living. In the main house, you will also find 3 comfortable bedrooms along with a full bathroom, laundry, combustion fire & AC. The ‘Weekender’ is spacious in design and a perfect spot for the children, grandparents or just some extra guests to hang out, complete with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom, AC, and can sleep up to 6 guests. The surroundings allow you to enjoy and explore the tranquility of the outdoors. The soft flutter of native birdlife like beautiful Adelaide Rosellas, kangaroos, resident sheep, and occasional visits from Koalas or an Echidna are just some of the wildlife to enjoy. The property falls on the boundary between Yankalilla & Normanville providing a choice of bakeries, cafes, hotels and grocery and medical facilities. Normanville has a striking stretch of coastline where the rounded hills of the Fleurieu Peninsula plunge down to the sea. The township of Normanville is nestled between the hills and the pristine dunes. The beach is strikingly clean, with clear water and fine white sand making it a very popular beach for families. Travelling from Canada, we relied on the online description of this property, and it was very accurate. We have three grandchildren and this was the perfect location for them to play. Our children even brought bicycles; the kids could ride with Dad in the driveway and even on the roadway (only with an adult) out front. The road is not heavily travelled. The grassy areas and wrap-around deck provided ample space for long conversations while the children played.Evening and morning visits with the Kangaroos were a treat. The home came very well equipped with a good selection of everything you need for cooking and relaxing, including the TV and wifi. There is a good selection of DVDs and even a Wii gaming system in the granny flat. One thing that would be appreciated would be a larger frying pan. The one provided was unsuitable for the property, which advertises up to twelve people. Also, the BOSE sound system did not work. These would be the only improvements we could recommend. On arrival, the property was obviously well cared for and the living quarters were clean. Overall, we highly recommend this property as excellent and would return again. We spent a lot of time at various beaches, all of them very close by. Normanville, Caracalinga, Second Valley, Cape Jarvis, Rapid Bay and it’s just a short drive to Victor Harbour and Port Elliot. All of these places are worth a visit. ##### B L.
