It's located in the National Park so entry pass to the Park is required ($15 per car). Building is really dated. The building with the hotel rooms is at a separate location from the building that says Yanchep Inn in the ads. Between this annex and the Yanchep inn, it is really dark once sunsets. Facilities in the room were mixed, some dated (carpet was badly stained, beds are soft), some new (linen were new).
There was road maintenance on the day we arrived, so we had to park at the bar, bring our luggage about 50m to reach the hotel room in the annex.
Hotel staff and bar staff are the same. So in order to check in at 4pm, I had to wait for the bartender to finish her work, then she brought us to the hotel side of the bar to check us in.
Restaurant/bar on site so we could eat there.
Outside the building was the high point of our stay. We could walk along the lake. kangaroos were outside our room. The boardwalk with koalas was just 20-30m away.
