"Safety Quiet and easy to get around"

"The Palmer Collective is centrally located in Townsville. It has its own bar and restaurant and this is the highlight of the property. The rooms are quite small, and unless I am mistaken servicing is only changing any towels and making the bed. If it is supposed to include light cleaning of the shower, toilet and basin then this is not done at all. We stayed her on two occasions and the biggest problem we had was the cleanliness of the service, when done. Nor is there any information available about the servicing. The Bar and Restaurant are great, staff are very helpful, food and drink is excellent and a reasonable price considering the many options in the locality. Parking is free and behind the hotel with plenty of available parking."

"Good location and a fun vibe - helpful staff and it's convenient for food and drinks Although the bar by the rooms closed at 10pm the music from an adjoining establishment and ongoing shouting in the street continued past midnight - not an issue last time I stayed, but my room this time was closest to the street."

"This venue is currently undergoing renovations and so to get to our room we had to navigate around various painting paraphernalia. However, once at the room we couldn't have been happier. It was super clean, modern and well appointed. The bed was perfect. Highly recommended, and it will only get better once the renovations are completed."
