"I booked as a solo 61yo male traveller. First time in Townsville. The location was great to access the nearby Magnetic island ferry terminal. All rooms are gathered strong the pool and rooftop bar on level 3. Not bad Sunday to Thursday when the bar / music stops at 10pm , but not so much Fir/sat at midnight. I had a good time , but it’s a younger persons place to be in my opinion. And this layout is not described in any booking platforms"

"Our room was clean, spacious and provided with everything needed for our stay. We slept great in the comfortable beds. It was very quiet and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. The staff checking us in and out were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we didn't realise it was a non-smoking property so my husband was inconvenienced, but something we should have checked before booking. I would stay again but my husband wouldn't due to it being non-smoking. "

"We got one of the bigger rooms that fit 8. Was plenty of room for us all and the kids room had heaps of space. Floors were a little grimy and there were a few ants about the space. But all in all we were very happy with what we got for the price we paid. Would definitely stay again"

"The position is superb. Right on the beach, many good eateries very close, including the hotel with $20 steak meals. Comfortable beds, spacious, good shower, lots of seating, will vome back."
