"Offered a cold bottle of water for the room as I checked in which I thought was a lovely touch. Air conditioning in room which was well needed in the heat wave! Very friendly, helpful staff. Lovely and clean room. Basic but had everything I needed for 1 night. Beautiful location, wish I’d had more time to explore the grounds."

"Great town and close to all amenities! Our room was next to the outdoor restaurant/ pub and we had the windows open due to the heatwave. The first night it was hard to get to sleep due to the chatter below and music. Breakfast is extra."
