Our stay was brilliant, Vicky was very attentive and despite being on the road was able to help us with restaurant ideas and exploring the features of the property. We stayed for two nights and found all the amenities to be perfect for quiet evenings, cooking, sleeping and using the lazy spa. We were very impressed with the modern feel, comfy bedding and the quiet environment. I would recommend this to anyone and stay here again.

Lovely Accommodation & Private Hot Tub

Great place to stay and we loved the private hot tub room in an old stable. Everything was very clean and modern, highly recommended if you need a place to stay near the northern lakes.

Fabulous place

Fantastic host fantastic place really clean and today , very peaceful , well appointed kitchen beds are really comfy, having the private hot tub is a real bonus . Looking forward to staying again

Our stay was wonderful, easy check in and a nice location where is isn’t overcrowded. Lovely lodge and it was spotless. The hot tubs are also a nice place to be in. Will definitely be looking to stay again.

The most remarkable aspects are the nature, clean air, and tranquility. The place is ideal for families with children. The host is very kind and responds quickly to inquiries. There is access to the horses, which are calm and allow petting. The jacuzzi is preheated, and the advantage is that it is indoors, protecting you from the cold wind on chilly days! We loved this place. Our son was working nearby so this was a good base. Really quirky converted stable. Very well decorated and all mod cons. Nice to see the horses. Pub right next door for dinner

Lovely new apartments

Lovely new apartments, converted from 3 stables and joined together, absolutely everything you could need included! Hot tub in a separate converted stable was perfect for the kids as well even during rainy periods!

Renovated Stable

Communication with Vicky fantastic throughout stay. Accommodation clean and exactly as pictured. Felt at home straight away. Underfloor heating was fantastic and use of hot tub was amazing. We had an issue arriving Vicky was always very helpful, understanding and accommodating. Cannot wait to visit again with the kids. The grounds are beautiful!

Weekend break

Vicky greeted us on arrival & it was nice to know she was nearby to help with any queries or issues. (There weren’t any.) The apartment was warm & cosy with all we needed for our long weekend. The hot tub was a special treat after a long, chilly walk. Thank you, Vicky.

Love it!

Great accomodation, very nice! And the stables still had 2 beautiful horses. Everything was a described. The jacuzzi room was fantastic too.. did get list trying to find it though, as the name of the lodge wasn't in the address provided. So when inputting the address, post code and first line of address is not enough. Suggest that you bring hand soap with you, as it's not supplied and washing up sponges if needed (there is a dishwasher!)

Very nice,clean rooms, staff helpful, hot tub great enjoyed it, kitchen very good. Enjoyed every but of our stay. Only postcode took us opposite side of the stable than was directed by a farmer to the correct address.
