The junior suite we had booked was really not a suite, just a normal double room. When we complained we were upgraded free of charge to a bigger suite which was excellent. Dinner was great but the choice at breakfast wasn’t great. The staff are all lovely. Unfortunately the spa area is far too small ...

Nice owner but perhaps too busy at New Year to look after guests efficiently. Clean dishes system a bit silly. No working TV, no working romantic fairy lights, hot water from tap hard work, no welcome pack for dogs as promised. That said we did enjoy the fizz provided and it is a lovely area to explore. ...
We stayed for only one night but the food , the room everything was lovely , With the bonus of all the tiny spring lambs running around in the field outside our window . We would definatly recommend and stay here again ..

With stunning scenery, historic attractions and superb restaurants, Worcestershire is a romantic county. Whether you’re thinking of whisking your loved one away as part of a surprise or you’re even getting married in the county, there are plenty of romantic hotels in Worcestershire, ranging from boutique B&Bs to four and five star luxury hotels.
Although a small county, Worcestershire is blessed with some of the most breathtaking countryside in the UK and a number of hotels have established themselves amongst some of the best panoramas and settings. The spectacular Dumbleton Hall Hotel is set in 19 acres of beautiful gardens, with woodlands and its own, private like, while Buckland Manor offers seclusion and tranquillity set in 10 acres of countryside.
For others, a spa is an integral part of a romantic getaway. The Malvern Hotel and the Lygon Arms both offer luxurious and serene spas, while the spa at the Abbey Hotel in Redditch offers a range of restoring treatments – and is even a licensed wedding venue.
Getting married in the right surroundings can make or break the Big Day. Worcestershire is full of stunning manor house hotels that are licensed to perform weddings. Both The Elms Hotel and the Chateau Impney Hotel and Exhibition Centre are prime examples, offering unbridled luxury and a superb location.
Dining is almost synonymous with romance and while there are plenty of excellent places to eat in Worcestershire, many romantic hotels have their own superb restaurants and some offer room service so you can enjoy a delicious dinner in the comfort of your room.
However, for those who can tear themselves away from their hotel, there are plenty of romantic attractions in Worcestershire. Worcester sits along the banks of the River Avon and there’s ample opportunity to take a boat cruise and enjoy the panorama from the water. Abbey Park is a kaleidoscope of blooms through the summer and offers the ideal setting for a picnic.
Worcestershire is a county bubbling with romantic things to see and do. Booking a romantic hotel is the best way to get the most from your time here.
