"Beautiful setting"
Dumbleton Hall is a quiet retreat steeped in history. Coming from Australia where we do not have grand old buildings like this, it was a lovely experience. The grounds are spectacular, the food above standard and the service friendly and prompt in general. I particularly enjoyed a quiet read in the library bar with a well mixed G&T. :) A short drive through peaceful country lanes to a number of quintessential old English villages and towns - I would particularly recommend Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury.

"Lovely hotel "
We have stayed at this hotel twice. It is full of character, has lovely big rooms with modern bathrooms and excellent staff. It could do with some TLC - wallpaper peeling in places etc and looking a bit tired, but don't let that put you off. The rate is very reasonable. Convenient for a stop off from the M5, for visiting Stratford and Evesham.

Although a small county, Worcestershire is blessed with some of the most breathtaking countryside in the UK and a number of hotels have established themselves amongst some of the best panoramas and settings. The spectacular Dumbleton Hall Hotel is set in 19 acres of beautiful gardens, with woodlands and its own, private like, while Buckland Manor offers seclusion and tranquillity set in 10 acres of countryside.
