"We were visiting to attend a party and as we had plenty of notice decided to splash out on the best room. It was huge - I could hardly see my wife on the other side! We loved the 4 poster bed (also huge) and the classy period furnture. The bathroom was well apointed and everything worked well. The automatic lightsvareva good idea, and my wife enjoyed the bath. The only minor issue wss with yhe windows which are secondary glazed for the winter, but some of the glazing was broken, which made the room quite hot in the summer. However, if we go back to Tewkesbury again, I suspect that we'll have to book this room again. Breakfast was good with top quality local produce."

"This property is exceptional, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, safe room, water provided every day, lovely staff, great food, we had beautiful breakfasts every morning of our 4 nights stay & dined in the restaurant 1 night, we had a room with a lovely view of the Severn, my only gripe is that the rooms are very warm, a fan was provided which helped a bit. "The best part was the early opening of the.swimming pool etc. without children till 0800. lovely pool, good layout, and receptionist very pleasant. Other staff all very helpful, too. Will be back again, enabled us to explore Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean."
