Room was bigger than normal, clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was OK.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the old jail, so many of the original features with a modern feel. Breakfast was incredible, best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had and the continental selection was amazing.

This is a great place to stay, the room we booked was a family room and had a king size and two singles plus a sofa and table in the living area so lots of room. The bathroom had a bath and excellent separate shower. The staff were really friendly and the pub itself busy with great food at attractive prices. An excellent cooked breakfast was also included, all for just over £100. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was comfortable and clean, the parking was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty they went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The on-site restaurant was lovely, the food was excellent. Location was ideal, near to all the attractions. We found the local pub next door’s very friendly.

Breakfasts were excellent. Parking brilliant. Room was very comfortable. Would highly recommend lovely staff. Also lots to visit ie Charlestown & Lost gardens of Heligan.

The room was clean and spacious the food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great place to chill out but you need to be mobile or have a car. As we holiday in Port Isaac annually we knew the hotel and its location as we had dined there a number of times. We were curious about the accommodation and this was a great place to do nothing and spoil ourselves. We would not hesitate to return.

I stay in a lot of hotels with my work trips and this is one of the best if not the best place to stay. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a warm, helpful and happy check in. All the staff are extremely polite and go out of their way to make your stay as relaxing and pleasent as possible. First morning at breakfast it was a little disappointing, we went down at 9am and the buffet was basically gone! We went down earlier the next couple of days and it was so much better. Room was perfect, and the area was great.

Lovely hotel. We stayed in a room in the building next to the hotel. Had a lovely evening meal one night. Nice breakfast but the only niggle was that they did run out of a couple of items ar our last breakfast

Very nice comfortable hotel with really friendly helpful staff. Good food and clean facilities. Close to the really pretty Charlestown harbour and some excellent restaurants close by for a change.

We were upgraded to a spa sea view double room as it was my partner’s birthday. So very kind and thoughtful and the room’s amazing and definitely has the wow factor! It was warm and sunny - so, the view was at it very best! Absolutely stunning!

Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works.
