"Fantastic location , super helpful staff and nice big rooms. Hotel is old so pretty warn out especially the hallways . Bedrooms are basic but have coffee and are clean. They are starting to renovate it so once done it should be pretty nice. For the price charged it's great value and I would stay there again."

"Friendly staff, cute room, great access to town center, delicious breakfast. The AC control was a bit hard to figure out but staff was available to help explain and it worked well (was a humid week). We loved our one-night stay and wished we had stayed longer. Only wish is to have conditioner in bathroom (to go with shampoo and shower gel)"

"This was a last minute booking due to an error I made. The room was lovely and clean. It was nicely appointed and modern. I went out for dinner but I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg for breakfast and it was nicely presented and well cooked. The only thing stopping me giving it 5/5 overall was minor noise overnight. There was a fan in the bathroom that I couldn’t seem to control (not the switch controlled extractor which went off after a short time) and because the rooms are quite close and the doors are heavy there was some noise at times but it’s a pub with rooms rather than a hotel so it’s probably to be expected. Overall it was ideal for a night and I’d still return again as the overall stay outweighed the minor noise issue."
