Most of the stay was very positive. Girls loved the pool, comfy beds, nice food (breakfast buffet was excellent) and very friendly reception staff. Only negative was the restaurant not managing to deliver drinks until a third reminder, when we were already halfway through the meal - the food was ...
Lovely large room with large screen TV comfortable beds. breakfast was a little disappoionting as scrambled egg was overdone and all a little less than hot. no one was behind the breakfast counter as there did not seem to be enough staff to deal with the amount of people. It was half term.
We stayed here for 2 nights in a family room which was lovely. The breakfast was nice if not a little slow with the service. We stayed for dinner in the restaurant on the first night but the childrens food was massively overpriced: £11.50 for a bowl of tomato pasta. Although the children did say ...
We enjoyed our short break , we were staying here to be close to pgl and friends and it served the purpose well
Nothing wrong with this hotel and we enjoyed our weekend break, I just felt like I should have been there for a conference or a training course rather than a relaxing couple of nights away. Staff are great, rooms are comfortable and clean although TV’s are dated and with just 4 channels. Nice place, ...
quite a few steps to our room, which was smelly ... problem with the drains... Could taste the vinegar used in the water for the poached eggs ...
We enjoyed our short stay and wish it could have been longer.
Good for visiting around Bradford on Avon and Bath. Quiet. Nice surroundings.
Wiltshire is a diverse and welcoming county, blessed with a variety of exciting attractions. Magical, prehistoric stone formations attract history lovers, while safari parks lull lively kids into a sense of wonder and amazement. The cherry on the top of this fabulous UK holiday destination is the broad and exquisite range of hotels, many of which boast their very own swimming pool.
Wiltshire's one of the best places in the country to visit with young kids. The vast stretches of countryside provide ample opportunity to wear them out on long and winding walks, while the educational and exciting attractions help make every trip a memorable one. Stonehenge and Longleat are two family favourites that kids in particular never tire of seeing.
One thing parents keep an eye out for when booking accommodation is hotels with a pool. Fortunately, there are plenty of family-friendly hotels in Wiltshire with their own pool. The Best Western Plus Blunsdon House Hotel is situated just outside Swindon and welcomes families. The dedicated kids' pool is perfect for youngsters, leaving the parents space in the indoor pool to unwind.
Swimming pools aren't just about splashing around or keeping fit, though. For many holidaymakers, the real charm of a pool is that it offers a space to relax. Those seeking some downtime will be glad to learn that Wiltshire is packed with spa hotels with pools.
The picturesque Bowood Hotel and Spa is an extensive estate that features gorgeous grounds, a tranquil indoor pool, and even an on-site golf course. The South Marston Hotel and Leisure Club also offers an impressive range of spa facilities.
It's not only holidaymakers who benefit from having a pool in their hotel. Wiltshire's a thriving centre for business, with professionals regularly travelling for meetings, conferences and corporate events.
Plenty of Wiltshire hotels that boast great business facilities (conference space, WiFi, AV equipment) also have a pool for relaxing after a hard day's work. The attractive Beechfield House combines the best of both worlds. The period property offers first-class business facilities, as well as a peaceful rural setting, swimming pool and a number of spa treatment rooms.
