  • Welcome to the Lumberjack Shack! Step back in time and experience the rustic charm of this 100-year-old popple log cabin near Rock Dam Lake, and campground! Once the sleep shack for the WPA workers, the cabin was drug to it's resting spot on Windy Creek where it still sits today. Nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's lush forest, this location offers endless miles of ATV, & snowmobile trails with access just up the road. Beach, two bars, waterfall, small store & campground just a couple minutes walk! Outisde the cabin you will find Windy Creek offering opportunites to watch beaver, ducks, birds, & other wildlife. Row boat, and two kayaks on premises for guest use, the inlet bay is not connected to the lake unless you venture through the culverts on kayaks which people have done!! The screened in porch is a great place to relax, and the lot is very private. A true "cabin" experience with modern amenities!
