"Our room was clean but wasn't the room we were supposed to have reserved, because obviously Expedia doesn't book the room when you pay for it, so you get whatever you end up with. It all worked out because we got a bungalow suite. It was in the center of the resort, we had an amazing front porch, with great views of the resort. They are very greedy with the towels, so if you need more towels then the number of people in your room you are not getting them. I person = 1 towel. You have to pay an additional $150.00 deposit upon arrival for damage protection. I added trip protection to my package but still needed the $150.00 deposit. The room didn't have any extras besides a mini fridge. The on-site restaurant is a great place to eat with great food and an amazing staff! The front staff was not very friendly but got the job done. Don't show up before 3pm, because you are NOT getting in. The house keepers were very friendly and did an amazing job."

"Although this is a older property its reflects the history of MontegoBay , the staff very professional and helpful, dining room staff courteous and willing to serve. The food is well-balanced and well tastings. Kudos to Miss .Walker the general manager.for supporting her staff and been attentive to the concerns of the guest I Enjoyed my stay...been able to walk across to the beach a big plus ."

"Liked not being solicited for time shares and always found places to sit and things to do. Especially enjoyed music at night and beach swimming great."

"The quality of this hotel was pretty outstanding. Comfy beds and pillows, good AC, decent showers and while the water never got super hot, it eventually warmed up. Drink prices were more reasonable than any nearby area and their breakfast menu changed daily, so it wasn't always the same thing. While the WiFi wasn't super fast, it was stable so you can easily work remotely. The pool was decent and you're right next to the beach. I'm shocked this is only listed as a 3 star hotel, it seemed like a solid 4 star. I have no complaints at all about this hotel, but they are strict with the 3PM check-in time. "

"I Did not spend a night at this property. The description is inaccurate - I did not feel safe staying at this property. The pool is used by the community for swimming lessons etc and the parking lot is a rocky mess with not enough space to accommodate guests. The boat was however responsive and accommodated my exit from the property within 2 hours of my arrival"
