I felt safe and here as a safe female traveler - I pretty much walked everywhere and the old city is very cool. I really liked the location of the entrance, which is off the main road so if you’re fumbling and trying to figure things out for entrance it’s very forgiving and provides some grace as a traveler that’s new to the area. "Nice hotel with spacious rooms. Walking distance to Krakow main square, lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Also next to the 'kiss & ride' pickup/dropoff. Unfortunately when we stayed the elevators were not working and it was a bit of a walk to use the stairs or use the back elevators. Also blow dryer doesn't work well."

"We had a fantastic trip to Krakow and the accommodation at Betmanowska was excellent! The organised transfer was perfect, really pleasant and knowledgable driver who told us about good places to go, see, eat etc The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of space with the usual safe etc…soft drinks minibar was complimentary which was a really nice touch!was bed was soft but we they do offer a service to make it harder, but we chose not to utilise this. Shower was great! A bottle prosecco was waiting for us as a welcome gift which was a nice touch as was a bottle of wine later in the stay to thank us for choosing them. Breakfast was great, continental style buffet was good with hot food made to order…can’t complain! Location was perfect, right next to the main square, yet the room did not suffer from external noise. The only downside was the building is old so was quite creaky, you felt the movement from other residents nearby and the building made a lot of noise as you moved about, but this wouldn’t stop us returning, just letting people know! The lift is very small and didn’t give us a lot of confidence it would make every journey! so if you’re not a fan, be prepared to use the stairs! Overall a fantastic stay, we would absolutely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again should we come back to Krakow!"

"This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The 5 star rating was misleading. It is a 3 & 1/2 star hotel. The Radisson Blu is suppose to be an upgraded hotel. We did not feel it was. We were in a suite. The size of the room was indeed spacious. However, the furniture was dated. The TV was in an awkward space in the primary bedroom. Yes, this location was ideal and across the street from a lovely park. The breakfast buffet was above average. The staff tried their best to compensate for the hotel’s deficiencies. Our expectations were not met with this hotel."
