We had a great stay at the Mariner Hotel in Westport. The location is excellent, right in the heart of town and perfect for exploring everything Westport has to offer. Our room was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming, which really added to the experience. A special mention has to go to Rossy in the bar, who was particularly friendly and made us feel very welcome. A lovely hotel in a fantastic location with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We would happily recommend the Mariner and would definitely stay again.

Stayed 2 nights during the beginning of June. The place met all our needs. We parked on the street for free because we were out travelling most of each day and missed the fee period. 8:30a-6:00p. The hotel had both an excellent breakfast and comfortable bedding. We did move to a room off the main street because of traffic noise. Traffic does drop off in evening, but starts earlier than we liked in the morning.

Almost made it to the toilet!

We booked in for a night while travelling home from West Cork. Stayed many times in Westport over the years, but first time here. Check in was welcoming and Room 204 which I paid an upgrade for was a good size. There was a funny smell in the room and I noticed an air freshener above the TV unit. The Bathroom was spacious and had a good walk-in shower. The toilet however had urine stains behind the seat and obviously had not been cleaned properly which was disgusting. Breakfast was extra but was very good.

I booked this hotel fairly last minute so didn’t have a huge amount of choice but I was so happy and impressed by what I ended up with in the end. The staff were all super friendly, the room was lovely and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. Location was great and right in the middle of town so everything within walking distance. The pictures shown on booking apps don’t do the place any justice
