Honestly this hotel wasn’t that bad. It is just in a sketchy part of downtown, but hey that’s anywhere in the inner city of Houston. The place just had a weird ominous and dark vibe, real dungeon-y. It seemed *surface level* clean so that was alright enough for me. Place could use some updates but for the low price it wasn’t bad. It’s a good hotel if you want something cheap and in the city, nothing real crazy.

I don’t think there are any great views unless you actually rent an apartment there. Otherwise, you’re stuck with a brick wall or an obstructed view. Parking is available in the garage across the street but be prepared to spend $26/night for it. Valet itself is $35. Staff was friendly. The inside is absolutely beautiful and clean. I noticed the carpets in the hallways upstairs seemed a bit old and starting to pull up. The TVs are very weird. Whenever I chose a channel, within two minutes, it would reset and go back to the Home Screen. Bed was super comfy. My only real gripe is that the walls are paper thin. I didn’t hear anyone in their rooms but definitely in the hallway. I would still return again.

Slightly confused about where to check-in, didn’t realize it was through a kiosk. Other than that, all good! Rooms are a bit dated and small, but clean. Lobby is very pretty! Good location and valet parking was great.

I visited from Austin TX. There is a choice between valet parking for or garage parking across the street. The garage is secure, well lite and clean. I will note it has tight turning corners for those that drive big trucks. The staff at the hotel were all friendly, helpful & generous.This hotel has an AMAZING hotel gym! It’s a mini Golds Gym! All the equipment for a full body cable/plate loaded workout! Smith machine, spin bikes, even an arc trainer! I was gobsmacked 😳 & bummed I didn’t bring my workout clothes. The hotel is in walking distance to many downtown restaurants & stores, and the Railway.
