Hyatt Place Pittsburgh-North Shore

Hyatt Place Pittsburgh-North Shore

10/10 Excellent
"Convenient location. Both for walking locally and to downtown, for access to many eateries around the hotel, for both stadiums and multiple other points of interest. Also, there is a metro stop right across from the hotel (back exit). This property manages to give you a quiet hotel experience, even though there are multiple freeways right outside. Very good sound insolation. You could hear a murmur of traffic, but if you are outside, traffic roars by. Inside the room, the HVAC unit will be louder than the sound from outside. And that one goes on and off through the night, it is a self-regulated, typical hotel unit. We needed air-conditioning, it was over 90 degrees outside, so we were fine and glad to have the unit, but it did wake us a few times. Room was clean and functional, and breakfast was fine. We were overall very happy with the hotel choice for our first getting to know Pittsburgh trip."

"Staff at front desk were helpful and eager to welcome us. My pillows smelled like dirty hair or a sweaty head. I didn’t complain. We were happy with the other amenities. I would stay here again and just bring my own pillows."
