"Its a brand new hotel/ new refurbished "

"The only negative I will say about Triggs is it is not a posh upscale expensive resort. The rooms are comfortable and functional and the location is great. You are right on the lake shore. I found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. The kitchen could have been a little more stocked - there was no wine bottle opener for example but we did not need one so I did not ask at the front desk if they could provide one. We stayed at a couple other places while we were in the Iowa lakes region...

"First time staying at a Hampton Inn. Stayed here two nights in order to visit the Omaha Zoo. Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable. Did laundry and was amazed that there was only one washer and one dryer available for guest laundry for the entire hotel. It was in a very small space with no seating. I don't leave my laundry unattended so we had to grab our camp chairs and cram them into the space while we waited for our laundry to finish. Otherwise, it was a nice stay."
