"This place is most suitable for travellers looking for a quiet place to rest in while on Maggie island. My friend and I stayed 3 nights and we loved it! It's cute, clean, tranquil and has everything you need. It's a bit old and the fridge wasn't working properly but we never mentioned that to the host. Was nice to stay in a not-for-profit place too. Location is good. Close to bus stop to ferry and getting around. It's in Nelly Bay so car hire companies will pick you up from there, depending who you rent from. If you're looking for nightlife stay at Horseshoe Bay. This spot is very quiet. The shower is semi outdoors which was a novelty."

"Our stay was everything we had hoped for. A nice quirky house with excellent outside areas. A few minutes walk down to the sea front, a quite and relaxing area with a huge back garden for our three dogs to run around in. An excellent wood fired pizza stand at the bottom of the road (Thu, Fri and Sat) and easy access to the main road to start your adventures. The kitchen is pretty new with a brand new dishwasher. All the crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils are provided. Nice comfortable beds which made our stay even better. We highly recommend this house and we will return again in the future."

"A charming rarity, set in beautiful tropical gardens with glimpses of rock wallabies and bush stone curlews a plenty. The room was spacious, super clean and very comfortable. A large guest swimming pool was an extra bonus, too. Communication with the host was great. The accommodation was accessible by an easy walk during the day or a 2 minute trip on the local bus day or night, which runs on a regular timetable."

"Clean linen and chalet. Beautiful pool. Quiet area. We had the pool almost to ourselves most days. Staff were helpful. Lovely accommodation, everything we needed!My only complaint was the birds, they woke us up through the night, but no-one can do anything about nature, not would we want to. "
