Very cute & clean cottage in nice neighborhood!
My husband & I stayed at the cottage the past weekend while visiting my son & his family in Palm Beach. The cottage worked great for us, was nice & cool, & comfortable. We will definitely consider the Red Door Cottage again for our future trips to the area.

Spring Training trip
Perfect for our needs. Initial communications issue was probably my fault for being unfamiliar with the process. Upon arrival, the owner greeted us and made us very comfortable. Will use them again.

Accurately listed, but still a small unit. This is essentially a hotel room sized unit with a few small plug in electric cooking devices. Lots of tiny dead ants throughout the property upon my arrival. Got worse throughout my stay.

My wife and I had a amazing stay David was an amazing host. We loved the privacy of the cottage and the location of the neighborhood.We were close to everything and communication was excellent.We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Cozy Cottage
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Red Door Cottage. Dave greeted us upon our arrival and was so friendly, personable and welcoming; which was great after a long morning of travel. The Cottage itself was perfect for us. The decor was modern and updated and it was very clean. The bed was soooo comfortable! It had everything we needed for the weekend. It is located near various stores/coffee shops which was very convenient. We would definitely book it again if our travels lead us to West Palm. Thanks Dave for a wonderful home away from home.

This is a wonderful property. I extensively read the other reviews before booking here and I felt that made it a no-brainer that we would get exactly what we need. The place was exactly as the other reviewers had described. The cottage lacked nothing. It was small but accommodated myself and my 18 year old daughter perfectly. The host made the futon bed for us so it was all ready when we arrived. There were extra blankets for the beds. Plenty of towels. Beach towels and even a beach bag (nice touch!) were provided. A small armoire with shelves and hangers too. An extensive list of restaurants in the area. We found a beach that rents chairs and umbrellas about 9 minutes away. SO many grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, shopping nearby. A short walk to get to a small beach/park where residents dock their boats, TONS of people walking their dogs and babies in the morning hours along this riverwalk in a beautiful neighborhood. Safe neighborhood. Easy freeway access. About a 10 min drive to the WPBI airport too! The hosts were friendly and accomodating to everything. They answered messages promptly. Couldn't ask for more!

Hidden Gem in WPB
This cottage has a charming feel created by the courtyard that is very private and extends the living space beyond what is inside. Tucked behind the home, the cottage is quiet and bordered by lush plants. Inside, the cottage is a large room with a queen size bed, futon, wardrobe, table with chairs, numerous occasional tables, and kitchen. Everything needed is included. The space is small for creating meals, but it is possible to make just about any meal you would like to. The bathroom is clean and has a wonderful flat shower that is both safe spacious. The home is located between rt 1 and olive rd which allows for easy access to Lake Worth and West Palm Beach and beyond. Sidewalks make for a very walkable neighborhood and the intercoastal is only about a 15 minute walk away. The owners are terrific and stayed in contact, answering any questions promptly. Overall, the property was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had and we look forward to returning!

perfect choice
This property is so convenient to the beach (short drive), grocery shopping, clothing shopping. The host was so friendly and quick to respond. We used the bikes which were great. Equipped with everything we needed! Comfortable and great price. Beach towels, beach bag provided. Patio was very nice too. Can park in driveway.

I would have loved my 2 night stay here, but there was some mold or mildew present that made me extremely ill. I had to sleep in my rental car the second night in order to breath. It is a cute, nicely furnished, well stocked cottage in a nice location, but if you have any sensitivity to mold or mildew - DO NOT STAY HERE! It gave me the worst asthma attack of my life (I have super mild asthma and haven't used an inhaler in years, until now). I considered going to the ER but didn't want to miss my flight home. The owners did refund 1 night fee since I had to sleep in my car, but no taxes or fees and denied the property had any issues. This is a very serious problem that I hope they will be able to fix in the future before harming another guest.

Great little cottage
Quiet backyard cottage in quiet neighborhood. I biked to S Flagler st, along the ‘lagoon’, several times — very mellow and scenic with big sky, water, and Palm Beach elegance everywhere. Unit is nicely appointed with strong AC and fan, plus newfangled air-fryer/microwave — cool once you figure it out. Check in/out times are a bit inconvenient at 5pm and 10am…. And loading in and out is a bit of a chore since you cant park near the actual unit as its in the backyard and they reserve the closest parking for themselves. All that said, its a great cottage and I already stayed twice !

Dear guests, We are very proud of our quaint VRBO Cottage and appreciate all the wonderful comments Mr. Votaw said about staying with us twice. Since the Cottage is situated in a private area behind our home we are available and very responsive to the needs of our guests. We would like to clarify the parking situation for those considering a stay with us. Listed on VRBO and in our Welcome Letter we let guests know in advance that there is parking both in our driveway and on the street in front of our home. At the time of Mr. Votaw's stay we needed access to our garage which is where the "closest parking" is. We have since made that parking spot available for future guests and they will not have to walk the additional 40 feet to their private entrance in the back of our home. Since making our Cottage available on VRBO we are pleased to say that we have had 95% occupancy and always have back-to-back guests. Our check-in and check-out times (which are are noted prior to making a reservation), are set to properly ready the Cottage for the next guest. With that said, in the past we have accommodated guests who have requested an early check-in or late check-out. If we had known we are confident that we would have accommodated Mr. Votaw with his need. We do hope Mr. Votaw will choose to stay with us a third time when he has the occasion to visit West Palm Beach. Your Cottage Hosts, David and Michelle

Super friendly hosts! Everything you need is provided. What I thought was a microwave from photos was actually some sort of contraption that could broil, toast, all sorts of stuff. They also had a 2 burner hot plate. All dishes and cooking utensils provided. So, if you want to save a few dollars and make your own meals, they have everything you need. The hubby and I enjoyed the little table and chairs outside and the whole atmosphere of the place, great landscaping too! I don't need to come to WPB often, but if the need arises again, I will absolutely stay here again. Only 10 min from the airport if you are needing a place nearby.

Charming cottage near the water
Property just as advertised. Recently renovated studio cottage in nice residential neighborhood with off-street parking. Owners did a great job creating a cozy environment. Everything was thought of: kitchen is fully equipped, plenty of towels & separate beach towels & beach bag. Great place to stay!

Quaint Little Place`
I was trying to avoid the very high prices at the major hotels and Dave and Michelle's cottage fit the bill. If you are looking for the convenience of being able to prepare your own meals...privacy and so on you should really take a look at this red door cottage. And yes, there is a red door. Served my purpose for the four days on a business trip and was a welcome change from the standard hotel environment.

Convenient, cute, clean, comfortable.
This studio was perfect for our needs while visiting friends in West Palm Beach. Nice amenities in kitchen, cozy private patio for dining outside, quiet neighborhood, and on-site parking all made this a great choice. Friendly and helpful host also made sure we had everything we needed.
