Taj Lands End

"Having stayed at several Taj properties in India and Dubai, Taj has always been our preferred hotel brand. Unfortunately, Taj Lands End didn’t quite meet the standards we’ve come to expect. Check-in was disappointing, with confusion over room allocations and repeated requests to resolve matters. The rooms were comfortable but looked tired, and we weren’t informed about ongoing renovations. The hotel has excellent amenities, including the lovely convenience of being able to purchase fresh flowers. The food was very good, and some staff were exceptional. Senior management were attentive and responsive. The entrance and lift staff were wonderful — always welcoming, smiling and asking about our day. Housekeeping were also excellent. However, service was inconsistent. Some junior staff appeared inexperienced, and one pool attendant was particularly rude. The small touches that make Taj special were missing — proactive service, attention to detail and making guests feel genuinely valued. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it lacked the warmth, polish and consistency we’ve experienced at other Taj hotels. With some improvements, this could be an exceptional property."

"Indeed the best and the most premium property in Goa. Food is amazing in all the restaurants. I wish they could upgrade all TVs to smart TV, who watches cable TV or Tata Sky and that too most of the channels not subscribed to by the hotel. Very frustrating indeed. Amazon sticks are few available and that also didn’t work as no one can log into their account for the reason the last guest used a PIN in Amazon account to access Fire Tv account. Lastly Gym and Spa needs a big time upgrade. Hope to see these small changes on our next visit."

"The historical property is absolutely amazing but the surrounding area is not pleasant at all. Taj needs to work on improving area aroid the hotel property and the gate way of India as well just so that people would like explore the area"
