Great staff very helpful throughout all the way from checking in to leaving the hotel they were very kind regardless of our requests. Room was also very clean and had all that we needed whilst being spacious. Would also highly recommend the breakfast which was very delicious!

From entrance to exit this has been one of my favourite places I have stayed in. Booked on short notice as I was travelling and started getting a bit tired driving so pulled over and looked for something local to where I was. Glad I did as it’s now on my list if I’m working in the midlands. Check in was great by the owner and the lady working, quick and easy and shown to my room. What a lovely surprise! This is a beautiful hotel in every way. The rooms are astonishing with so many little details. The renovations are incredibly impressive. The staff were fabulous. And the breakfast lovely. A truly relaxing stay and a great find.

The perfect place to relax and unwind- the staff are excellent and special mention to Becky and Millie on reception- food superb and location is idyllic with views over rolling shire’s countryside. The luxury rooms are beautiful and worth paying the extra for.

I book The Poplars same time every year to attend an event locally. It’s always comfortable, clean and well priced. Above all you couldn’t ask for more helpful and friendly staff.

What a lovely hotel! The staff were very friendly and cheerful. The room we stayed in (31) had a four poster bed and very oldie worldie, which fitted in well with the hotel. The bathroom was very modern and clean. We only had breakfast there but what we had was very nice. It was a pleasure to spend there. Would definitely stay again

Our stay from start to finish was excellent , very clean rooms well done house keepers , the reception staff where very helpful , and the breakfast selection , had something for everyone .

We were given a good welcome. Although evening meals are not served, there were some good restaurants nearby ( food was delicious at Chiakos). Room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful even though one had been on duty for many hours with only a few hours sleep! Highly recommended.

First time at a motorway hotel and very surprised at quietness and comfort of it. The only let down couldn't get a beer or wine anywhere on site, but not a real problem. I would definitely stay again next time I'm up that way. Steve.
