"Checking in online was pointless. Since I filled out the forms, gave a copy of my license plus my cc info it said all id have to do is grab my room key n go. I did not work that way at all. I still spent 10 minutes filling out the same exact forms all over again. That was frustrating since we were rushing to a game. Other than that a great stay as usual. "

"The front desk staff were not particularly welcoming. They were very matter of fact in their directions. The hotel charges a high parking fee for being in a part of town that has plenty of parking. The hotel carpet is dirty. The corridors smell like marijuana. One large towel was provided for a double queen room reservation. The Double Tree should improve the character of the hotel. On the bright side, the welcome cookies were very good."

"Stayed 2 nights for ballgames. Miranda at check in was great. She was very nice and helpful. She made you feel right at home. Breakfast was good as well. Walking distance to the entertainment district."

"We were there to attend our daughter’s TCU graduation, and the staff was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The event planner did a wonderful job transforming the hotel lobby into a fun and festive celebration with a sparkly balloon backdrop, “2026” display for photos, purple bead necklaces, custom TCU cookies, bagged popcorn in TCU’s colors, and refreshing Moxi drinks (which were a great alcohol-free touch). It was all very thoughtful and made the celebration feel extra special for the guests. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness. Overall, the room was very nice, but when we arrived I noticed a pair of black socks on the floor, a larger snack crumb that I stepped on, and the shower floor was very slippery. Since the room is somewhat dark and the socks blended into the flooring, I can understand how they may have been missed, but it did make me wonder if the room had not been thoroughly vacuumed. On a positive note, the snack shop was wonderful for late-night needs—offering wine, beer, water, and snacks, which was very convenient. However, there were no utensils, napkins, or paper or plastic cups available either in the room or at the snack store, which would have been helpful since items are purchased there to bring back to the room to heat and or eat."

"Best breakfast on our entire week long trip to Texas. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very helpful and professional. Loved this hotel and Fort Worth."
