#### On a sunny day, there’s no better destination in Fort Worth to enjoy the outdoors than this lovely riverside green space with excellent facilities.

Come to Fort Worth’s Trinity Park to relax on the grass with a picnic, to ride the miniature train, to watch your kids go wild in the playground or to hike or bike the scenic Trinity Trails.

Trinity Park is a generous 252 acres (102 hectares) in size, meaning you can spend a decent amount of time exploring it. As well as enjoying the beautiful expanse of the park itself, take the time to see a section of the Trinity Trails. Amounting to over 40 miles (64 kilometers) in total, these picturesque tails run alongside Trinity River. Rent a bike to cover more ground, or put on your hiking boots and head out on foot.

Bring along a fishing rod and you might catch something at the park’s fishing pier. Or, if you’re with kids, stop at the duck pond to feed the birds that live there. When it’s time for a bite to eat, settle down at one of the picnic pavilions or seating areas found throughout the park.

Visit Fort Worth in May and you will be just in time to experience one of its most fun and welcoming events, the annual Mayfest. This spring celebration takes place in Trinity Park and features a wide array of family-friendly entertainment and attractions. Dance to live music, get dizzy on the carnival rides, make some new furry friends at the petting zoo and pick up gifts at the market.

Find Trinity Park on the western bank of the Trinity River, close to Fort Worth’s wonderful Cultural District. Attractions you can walk to from the park include the famous Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, all housed within stunning buildings. The nearby Fort Worth Botanic Garden offers another option for those sunny days.

I needed a place to stay for my daughter’s cheerleading competition at the 2026 UIL Cheerleading Championship in Fort Worth (January 15–17) and wanted to be closer to the Fort Worth Convention Center. After reading outstanding reviews, I chose The Crescent Hotel in the Cultural District—and it exceeded every expectation. The modern architecture, exquisite interior design, and impressive art collection featuring Pablo Picasso, alongside curated contemporary and Old West pieces, immediately drew me in. The rooms looked exactly like the photos—only better. They blend old-world Western charm with modern, five-star amenities, creating a multisensory experience that feels like an international getaway without needing a passport. Designed as an oasis from the city’s fast pace, the hotel offers both luxury and comfort. Be sure to visit Emilia’s restaurant; it deserves a spot on your “must-do” list. We enjoyed a relaxing and delicious breakfast before heading home. Special thanks to the exceptional team who made our stay memorable: the Valet Department (especially Captain Idris and Mr. Etienne), the Front Desk (Mr. Riley and Ms. Sarah), Room Service’s Ms. Isabella, and Ms. Jacqueline along with the entire Emilia’s staff. I highly recommend The Crescent Hotel for your next visit to Fort Worth—you will not be disappointed!
