"Just stayed at this property, the staff were really friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. Thank you to the night manager who came out in the early morning to check I was OK and offer me a coffee when I was sitting out on a bench waiting for the RAC man after an issue with my car. All staff we met were really helpful and friendly, the room was clean and airy - really enjoyed our stay. "

"Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the family room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection of both hot and cold options and the food tasted great. 15 minute drive on quiet roads to Longleat which was main purpose of our weekend. "

"Would definitely return, lovely pub with local south west ales, cider's, lagers, spirits. Great atmosphere, live music on night we stayed, not to loud and finished at reasonable time so not disturbing guests. Staff were really nice, helpful and approachable, room was clean and well kept, breakfast was relaxed atmosphere and good size portions, continental available as well. Bonus was they would accommodate a motorbike in a safe place with prior notice given. Overall my opinion is this is a great place to stay and definitely going in the right direction from previous ownership. Deserves more star rating than currently has (but think this is from previous rep) would definitely return without hesitation if current staff and owners preside. Harley Al. Cornwall "

"Our room was lovely, very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. It was very quiet at night too, no banging doors, although not sure if it was because the hotel itself was quiet. The only negative was that the room was incredibly hot at night. We had to have the windows open quite wide overnight. "
