"We had such a wonderful experience at the hotel! The staff were incredibly professional and kind, making us feel welcomed right away. Our room was not only clean but also equipped with everything we could possibly need and more. We really enjoyed the breakfast and light meals we tried a couple of times; they were quite satisfying! The lounge in the basement was a lovely touch, offering great snacks and drinks that we appreciated. Overall, we fell in love with both the hotel and Kyoto, and we can't wait to return!"

"Second time visiting Kyoto and stayed at this Sotetsu inn in the Gojo area. Got upgraded to a more spacious room, which is quiet and comfortable. You can take buses directly to many sights in Kyoto near this hotel, and the Shijo shopping street is only a short walk from this hotel. "

Because it was raining, the roof top bar was closed, but we had nice cocktails downstairs at the other bar. Super helpful to have the bakery and coffee bar downstairs when you’re running short on time in the morning. The baked items were wonderful!I would absolutely recommend this to friends and family traveling to Kyoto"
