Good little hotel

A lovely little hotel tucked away down a side street in Kyoto. Very friendly staff, nice room with good a/c (we stayed during an extreme heat episode so were very grateful for that). Nice eateries nearby. Would recommend.

両親と2室を予約したら、ホテルのミスによりダブルブッキングのため、2時間以上フロントデスクで待たされて、ついに親が宿泊出来ませんでした。チェックインの到着時には予約者の名前があったのに、ルームキーを渡された後に宿泊者の名前が他人に変わっていて、ホテルのシステムのエラーが原因でそこから2時間待たされて、ついに宿泊拒否。70歳代の親でもこんなホテルは人生で経験したことがないです。フロントデスクには日本人がおらず、クルド人(?)と中国人で、日本語でのコミュニケーションが困難でした。苦情を言うためにマネージャーを出せと言ったら、中国人の女が出て来て、話を聞くと勤務初日とのこと。もっと偉い社長を出せと言ったら韓国人が電話で出ました。経営者の韓国人は、お客様に対する日本のおもてなしや謝罪の文化が無いため、ダブルブッキングをしてルームキーを渡された後に宿泊拒否で2時間待たされた事に対して謝罪も対応策も無し。しかもホテルの経営者が従業員に対して(両者ともに外国人のため)間違って尊敬語を話しているのも聞いていて気持ちが悪かったし、両者が第二外国語の日本語で会話しているため、意思疎通が出来ていませんでした。私が間に入って通訳する羽目に。あまりに衝撃的な体験でした。フロントに人が常におらず、夕方だけ現れるのも、低賃金の外国人従業員を雇うために、留学生を夜だけ雇っているのでしょうか。宿泊予約をする時も、オンライン予約した後にメールで返信しないと予約が確定しないという前代未聞のシステムで、しかもその返信ボタンを携帯電話から押しても返信が出来ないのです。更に、予約メールに書いてあった住所にマップで設定すると、全然違う近所の古い屋敷に到着した。タオルの交換も毎日してくれないため、フロントで文句を言って新しいタオルを貰いました。トイレに茶色の髪の毛が落ちていて、泊まった子供達には汚いと不満でした。部屋の匂いも臭かったです。春なのに冬の掛け布団が置かれていて、それで寝たら全身汗ビショに。フロントでタクシーを呼ぶ様にお願いしても、そのようなサービスはしていないと断られました。とにかく日本人の常識には合わないことが多すぎるホテルでした。日本の文化の代表地である京都にこんなホテルがあるのが、とても残念で恥ずかしいです。確かにホテルの名前を見れば、日本人の発想ではないですね。 良かった点は、従業員の方が携帯電話の充電器や風邪をひいた子供のために体温計を貸して頂いたり、ダブルブッキングのトラブル中にコーヒーを入れて頂いたことです。従業員の人達は悪くないのでしょうが、経営陣と予約を担当してるコールセンターの人に問題がある様に思えました。風呂にいれるヒマラヤとフランスとオーストラリアの三種類の岩塩があることは、珍しかったです。 普通は口コミを書いた事はありませんが、あまりに違和感があったため、将来のお客様が同じ様な体験をされないために、私の経験をシェアさせて頂きました。ホテル側には沢山の改善点を是非ご検討いただきたいです。

長期滞在をしました。 受付の方の対応が非常に良かったです。 無料のサービスが豊富で、有り難かったです。 またチェックアウト後に忘れ物をした際も、入念に探して下さり、無事に物を見つける事が出来ました。 またの機会に利用したいと思いました。

快適といえば快適

・京都駅からは少し離れており、いまいち所在地が分かりにくい。 ・施設自体は大変清潔で快適。 ・駐車場は近隣のコインパーキングを利用したが、提携していたら尚良かった。 ・ベッドヘッドに、コンセントの差し込み口があったのに、肝心の元のコンセントが抜けていた為、使用できなかった。これでは意味が無い。壁面にコンセントの差し込み口があるか探したが分からなかった。 ・再利用はおそらくしない。

周囲に何も無い。コンビニまで徒歩10分ほど。 公共交通機関で行くと何かと不便な立地。 部屋にフロントとの電話がなく、いちいち用があればフロントに行かないといけない。 建物も部屋は新しく、布団も寝心地いいが、窓を開けると隣のぼろアパートの廊下が見える。つまり、向こうからも見えるのでカーテンは開けられない。 チェックアウト11時なのに10時40分に清掃スタッフがノックしてきて、鍵を開けると、スタッフから部屋のドアを開けられ、まだチェックアウトしてないんですか？と問われた。フロントにクレームを言いに行くと、謝罪はしていたが、清掃スタッフが新人だからと言う。 こちらには関係ない。 元々ホテル業ではないだろう業態が、何かあるこういう普通のホテルでは考えられない非常識な対応で出てくる。 まずまず快適に過ごしていたが、最後に非常に不愉快になった。
