Splendid Cozy Log Cabin with Beautiful Mountain Views!

"We are a couple of seniors looking for some quiet time in WNC. This cabin was the perfect retreat for us, yet also close to Boone, Appalachian State College and Grandfather Mountain. The view from the cabin is spectacular, especially at sunset, which could be enjoyed from the spacious deck or firepit area. Although the cabin maintains a cozy rustic feel, the bathrooms and kitchen have been updated and are well stocked. The owners were quickly responsive to any concerns we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The cabin is super cute, new, and clean. It’s also private and the views of the lake are beautiful. Core childhood memories roasting hotdogs over the fire and making s’mores. We had a lot of fun."

"We absolutely loved our stay! This place was everything we could have hoped for and more. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and sitting in the hot tub and taking it all in was definitely one of our favorite parts of the trip. The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. You can tell how much care and attention goes into making this place special. The only suggestion we would make is adding a TV near the hot tub area, as it would make an already amazing experience even better. Other than that, everything was perfect! We had such an amazing time and honestly didn’t want to leave! We will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip next year for our honeymoon. We highly recommend this Vrbo to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!"

"The place was great! Beautiful views and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook. We felt right at home. Rooms were as the pictures showed.The only minor complaints are that the house is in a very remote area, with no internet or phone service along the last bit of roadway until you reach the house and the driveway is a bit narrow and better used w an SUV or truck. Although we made it to the house without incident.We would rent again as it was a great long weekend and the host was very informative."

"Beautiful property and loved our stay. Far enough out to be away from crowds but close enough to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk to still be convenient. Perfect cabin feel for what you want when you rent a place in the mountains!! Host very responsive. Just a note to people considering renting that the very steep gravel driveway could be a bit of a challenge depending on type of vehicle you drive."
