"If you have no mobility concerns, this is a wonderful property from which to enjoy the lake. The house is comfortable (my husband and I used the downstairs bedroom instead of the larger suite upstairs because it was cooler). The beds (three kings!) were very comfortable and had actual cotton sheets! Janelle was a very responsive host. The location was peaceful and shady. I am a swimmer, and this little finger of the lake was lovely, without too much boat traffic. My daughter and I also paddled around a bit in the kayak and saw deer and a heron. Like most lake properties, the dock may not be safe for small children, as it does not have railings.Please do not underestimate the number of stairs here, however. The steps down from the parking area are steep and a little wonky. To get down to the water, there are about 100 stairs and an an awkward scramble between the last stair and the metal dock ramp. None of this stopped us from enjoying the lake, but we are glad this trip didn’t include the grandparents."
