We had a large balcony ocean view room, but the sunbed on the balcony could have used some sort of cover as when the sun comes around in the afternoon, it was fully exposed and much too hot to sit outside. "I can’t say enough about the staff at Soul. Everyone, from front-desk staff to the restaurant staff, were smiling, attentive and helpful. The daily breakfast was delicious and bountiful—a great start to each day, and the nightly fire show was awesome. Our stay occurred during rainy season and, when it rains, there is very little to do in the immediate area. When the sun shone, the beach directly at the back of the hotel was sadly littered with trash—a problem apparently throughout many of the island’s beaches. Luckily, the pool had ample seating options. My only quibble with this stay was the incessant disco music played loudly during the entire dinner hours every evening. It was thumping for hours, and never in 8 days did we see anyone getting up and dancing. It would be much nicer if they would allow diners a peaceful and pleasant dining experience (the food was uniformly delicious), and then afterwards turn the dining area into a disco for those who might enjoy that experience. Overall tho, a great place to stay for a reasonable expense. Thanks to everyone there!"

"The staff was just so lovely!!!❤️ I was there very-off-peak so it was super-extra quiet and personal, but I’m sure even when it gets busy it will still be a great place to stay. Right now they are doing very nice (almost overhaul) renovations—it used to be the “Sir Albert” but it’s completely new management. Some of the amenities still say Sir Albert, but they assured me that would be fixed soon 😉. If you want freshly renovated, super clean (by American standards, that is!), extremely comfortable, quiet, low-frills but high-quality, just STEPS FROM THE BEACH—this is your place! The 3 pools in the center of the Marina Village are beautiful, and free for hotel guests to use, but I was so happy in the ocean that I didn’t get in a pool once in 19 days! Be aware: the Marina area itself is NOT a nightlife hub! Not much there at all except the Sailing Club bar/restaurant, a few others, a cute mini-night-market, and loads of small hotels and spas. There is some nightlife at Sailing Club, and apparently also at both resorts that flank the “village” (Regent and Pullman), but it was DEAD otherwise…which was AMAZING! (Remember, it was also low-season, but I doubt it will ever be crazy there. Perfect for families, non-partying couples and solo travelers.) I cannot say enough good stuff about my stay! They still have some kinks to work out, and some tiny details to fix to be TRULY 5-star, but they are well on their way! This is going to be a top boutique hotel on the island in no time"

"The room was very clean. We were only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The pools were spotless, inside and out. The sraff was very accommodating, friendly. The place was tucked away on the Southside off the island and only shirt drive away to anywhere else on the island. Felt like a private beach. Local shops , food marts , convince stors and small restaurants close by too. My family if 3 had a wonderful time at the Bliss hotel and highly recommend it for peace and tranquility. It was our 1st time there, and we took this trip to celebrate my 66th birthday 🎂. We stayed for 5 days 4 nights, although it was low season, it did rain off and in for a few days, but still had a spectacular time."
