Renovated Beach Cottage w/ Private Pool Steps Away from the Sea

"We can only say this is the place to stay! The cottage has everything you need. The kitchen was stocked with dishware, glasses, utensils, cookware and a full size fridge. The bed was so comfy. The bathroom very big, there is a closet in there with beach towels & pillows. The pool is clear and a great refresher to cool off when the sun is heating up. There is a basketball hoop to play in the water and there are lots of toys in a box filled with pool toys, balls, life jackets, masks, etc. I think people would leave things there for the next guest, we did. From there you walk out and the ocean is mere feet from the cottage! We were very fortunate with our stay as we had the beach to ourselves for 4 days before a family showed up. We went at the end of August, and the other homes were not in use. It was so relaxing, we snorkeled and used the kayaks. There are bikes, but we didn’t use them and instead took advantage of the ocean. You can Kayak to Starfish beach easily and take a swim. At night you can see the stars, we were blessed with an eclipse! We also had daily guests, the Cayman chickens, Cuban ducks, an iguana and another lizard that lives in the shell by the tree along with a stray cat. We have been to Cayman several times but never stayed on this side of the island, this was by far the BEST trip we have had to Cayman. We are defiantly going back!"

"We had an absolutely exceptional stay and genuinely loved this lodge. Somehow, it is even better in person than the photos and listing suggest — spacious, beautifully positioned, peaceful and incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay, and even then we really didn’t want to leave.The setting is probably the biggest highlight. There is an extensive stretch of beautiful beachfront immediately outside, with wonderfully clear water and, during our stay, none of the seaweed that can affect other parts of the island. It felt wonderfully private and tranquil, particularly compared with the busier resort areas.The location is also excellent for exploring this side of Grand Cayman. Rum Point, Starfish Point, Kaibo and the surrounding Cayman Kai area are all very easily accessible, while the lodge still feels secluded and peaceful when you return.This ended up being one of the real highlights of our Cayman trip. It felt much more like having our own home on the beach than simply staying in holiday accommodation. We would return without hesitation and can very highly recommend it and all the properties at Gardens of the Kai."
Beautiful Beachfront Condo in Cayman Kai/Rum Point

"Just as photos showed - bottom floor unit with keypad for entry. Coffee maker and blender for frozen drinks. Unit had some swim toys and there is a cooler as well if needed. Loved the screened in porch with ceiling fan, nice to sit and enjoy the view mosquito free as they definitely have mosquitos at sunset. We were one of only three visitors so essentially had the beach and pool all to ourselves! No sargassum and you see starfish without even needing to walk to Starfish point. There is a bit of sea grass but, we had water shoes so not an issue. If facing the condos from the beach, Kaibo Yacht Club was directly to the left which has a bar and grill - very convenient however, since we were there during off season they closed down for six weeks. We arrived on their last night open so took advantage of the bar and lunch the next day before they closed. WiFi worked well and ample parking we did not watch tv as they have two remotes and no instructions on how to access but, not there to watch tv. Loved the serenity and location close to Rum point which is a must do. Note if you are wanting restaurants and nightlife this is not the place for you but, if you want relaxation and quiet you have hit the jackpot!"

"Beautiful modern well stocked house. Immaculately maintained. The pier was a family favorite and we were able to view an abundance of sea life. Definitely recommend this lovely house and it’s quiet location for a fun family vacation."

"Great place to stay! My wife and I were very pleased with the location, price and cleanliness of the condo. They also had snorkeling gear, beach towels, a box fan (white noise), and a very comfortable bed. The smart TV was also nice for a movie night. 10/10 would recommend!"

"This property was even better than the photos and description because it's just too amazing to capture in pictures or words. We loved the location, the quiet and peace it provided, the screened porch was perfect (go away mosquitos) and the view plus quick walk out to the beach. The hosts have thought of everything in the home and we would definitely stay here again."
