"Nice 3 day stay at the Rum Point Retreat. Take the ferry from Camana bay if you don’t have a car. Ellen was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable 1 bedroom. Nice pool and great beach to watch the sunsets. "

"There was an issue with the HVAC units in the downstairs’ living room and bedroom that required us to reach out to the management several times. On the upside we had immediate assistance. The pool company stopped by while we were at the house to clean and check the chemicals in the hot tub. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, there was plenty of towels, and the easy beach to water access to snorkel (saw a lot of fish) was a big bonus! There are a few things I’d would suggest for the owners would be to place rubber mats at the doors, on the inside, of the screened in porch. It rained a couple days and the water would pool up on the tile floor, making it extremely slippery. Two, place liquid soap bottles in the bathrooms to wash hands. Third, maybe think about installing a swimming pool. Some of the days the water was too rough to swim in and it would have been nice to have a pool. And finally, have someone come rack the beach multiple times a week when the sea grass is heavy. By the end of our week stay the beach was covered with at least 5 feet deep by a foot high of the smelly grass. "

"Snorkeling was amazing and the views beyond amazing .. with the exception of the constant dock construction next door … Highly recommend excursions through Ocean Frontiers. Loved being on the rural side of the island. Great communication and recommendations from the host. "

"Everything was just as reviewed.. clean, spacious, perfect location easy to talk to host if needed. The location in regards to beach is perfect. We didn’t need to be close to 7 mile because we have been there before so for this trip we loved staying in rum point but yes you will most definitely need a car.. if u have the rental car you are really not going to need anything else. This was the perfect spring break vacation for my family "

"Beautiful, spacious, poolside suite with ocean view and a quiet, family-friendly vibe. Everything we could possibly need was provided, including fully equipped kitchen with espresso maker, two ovens, microwave, huge fridge; washer and dryer in the suite; snorkeling gear free to borrow for the entire stay. On-site restaurant was good, a little pricey, but terrific wait staff who immediately made us feel welcome and at home. Jonathan and concierge staff were responsive and attentive. The only issues during our stay were a 4-hour power outage because of utility company work on the road -- not the property's fault and they gave us a treat for the inconvenience -- and a pesky lock on the sliding doors. We loved it there and definitely would stay there again. Rum Point is a great location if you want a peaceful vacation with lots to enjoy and none of the more crowded feel we sensed in 7-mile beach area. "
