I was in and out of the hotel due to flight challenges. The night crew communicated my changes to the morning crew.

Very clean, great room for the price

Posted 01-May-2016
Pros: Clean/Nice space with full kitchen/ Great shower!
Cons: Windows not insulated. Don't get a room facing the street.
Location: Close bus stop on 7th goes straight to National Mall area. Nearby restaurants and shopping
We were pleasesd with just about everything with this hotel. Very clean rooms, maid service every day, nice linens, spacious suite with full kitchen. Beds are comfortable but on the hard side. The locations is a couple of blocks further when walking to attractions and museums but lots of restaurants in the area. There is a bus that runs on 7th so it is only a couple of blocks to the bus stop that will take you right down to National Mall. Also a high end shopping area with a great gourmet restaurant/market just a few blocks away for yummy yet not expensive breakfast and another breakfast place just around the corner. The only problem we had, was on two nights, there was a lot of noise outside (people laughing, cars, sirens) and the Windows are not insulated so you can hear EVERYTHING. I would suggest requesting a room that does not face the street.

The room was great, one bedroom apartment size. It was clean and well finished with new appliances. Great hotel room. Perfect for long stay guests.

Nice, large rooms, but loud and cold!

The Eldon suites is conveniently located near the convention center. The rooms are very large (a separate bedroom with a door - great for roommates!). The hotel staff were not very helpful or kind. The room was consistently very cold since the windows seemed to let in all of the cold air outside. Also, the noise from the street below kept me up most nights. Bring a solid set of earplugs!

Another one bites the.... Guest

Posted 11-Apr-2016
Loved the price I paid, the fact that we had a kitchen, lots of space. However, I was attacked by a spider in the middle of the night. I woke up with a total of 9 bites over my face and neck. Needless to say, this put a damper on the rest of my trip. Getting a hold of the manager took three trips to the front desk. But when I could speak with him, he refunded me the night that I was bit. I was happy with that and appreciated that gesture. Otherwise, my reservation party and I enjoyed our stay. This place definitely helped keep our trip costs down.

Pros: Unexpectedly nice suite, Kitchen, Living area, bedroom, big closets, nice bathroom, great shower.
Cons: Smell of cleaning products. This room was in the basement, but had outside windows and its own sub-street level courtyard.
Location: Great location, Near the Mall, shopping, and China Town.
I was in DC for an event at the National Building Museum which is just a few blocks away.
