Location was excellent to many of the Washington DC popular sights.
Capitol was in walking distance as well as many of the other popular sights.
Hyatt on Capitol Hill has a nice restaurant/bar if you choose to stay in.
Hotel is clean and comfortable.
Traveling as a family. Great location near Capitol Hill. Short walk to train station (2-3 blocks). Taxis in front of hotel as well as pay as you go scooters and bikes.
Great location. Gym and refillable water sites were a plus. Starbucks with snacks was also helpful while we got our bearings on places nearby.
Just missed not having a hot tub.
I am VERY picky about hotels and this one was great! Our only complaint was that the restaurant seemed short staffed so the dining experiences were a but long. But otherwise, it was clean and well maintained. Great place to stay!
Very nice hotel good for travelers. The room was clean, modern and up to date. The shower was amazing. Bar and restaurant was just enough and the staff very helpful. They gave us bottled water at arrival which was just what we needed! close to transportation and sites. Taxi available round the clock. Recommend.
Elevator to front door oddly difficult to find from inside the hotel(which matters when you have a stroller) but other than that it was great! Exceptionally nice to our kids--gave them little prizes when we checked in.
This was my first time being in Washington, and everyone at the hotel was very friendly and polite. Megan at the front desk took great care of us at checkin.Diamond was great in helping us book our trolly tour, Christian at the Article 1 dining was awsome, he tended to our every need. Checking out thr night manager Lecresha called us a cab early morning to get to the airport in Maryland. We are do grateful for the great service and hospitality shown to us. Definitely will be staying there on our next visit. Last but not least Sam the manager at Article 1 dining was awsome.
We visited on vacation in October.
This hotel was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff made this an exceptional stay. Mr. Sam, the restaurant manager, made sure my grandson felt special on his birthday, with gift souvenirs and balloons. Even the cleaning personnel were friendly and attentive.
Other amenities added to our stay. The restaurant food was excellent and we ended up eating there almost every day of our visit. The pool was wonderful and clean, great for kids.
While not on a metro line (a consideration), they are nearby, and the Trolley Tour stopped right in front of the hotel. It is within easy walking distance of the capitol, but more distant from other museums on the National Mall.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They offered free water bottles for each guest daily. The rooms were clean and the hotel was very pretty. Overall very happy. I would stay again.
