I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were supportive and accessible around the clock, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and while the pillows could have been a bit bigger, it wasn't enough of an issue to request more. The bathroom was pristine with a tiled walk-in shower featuring a rain shower head. There were plenty of amenities, including a restaurant in the building and a market store across the street. There was a local seven/eleven convenience store just around the corner that was walking distance as well.
We ordered coffee at the market one day, which was typical but satisfying. While the price of bottled water was a bit high, it's understandable in such settings. The only minor inconvenience was the parking; valet service cost $45 a night (for a sedan), and there was only one valet attendant when we arrived, leading to a bit congestion and quite the wait. I accidentally left my sunglasses in the car, but it wasn't worth the hassle of retrieving them from the valet. Upon check out they attempted to charge me $55 a night and it was quickly rectified when I mentioned it. Despite this, I would highly recommend this hotel. I wish we had chosen the Hyatt initially rather than trying to save money at another location, as we ended up here anyway after a terrible experience elsewhere. Other than the parking, everything else was amazing.
