Belmont House Hotel

"Our room ( number 3) was on the small side and our bathroom was tiny with an old fashioned fixed shower. The wash hand basin so small that it was impossible to fill our room kettle directly from the cold tap. I had to fill the kettle from a water glass. The bathroom fan was extremely noisy. There were no curtains on our window just a blind. My cooked breakfast was excellent and service was friendly if somewhat haphazard. Hotel grounds were impressive."
Burrendale Hotel Country Club & Spa

"Nice facility-friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was very good. The spa was excellent. Centrally located and an abundance of self parking. The front desk was extremely helpful in finding us another room as the first one didnโt meet our requirements. It obviously is very popular/busy as a consequence itโs looking a little tired and worn. It could use some minor maintenance-eg paint, cleaning the grout in the showers, etc. We would definitely stay at the hotel again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay-a charming older style hotel with lots of character. The property was clean and very well maintained. Beautiful grounds and setting in the hills overlooking Newcastle-yet convenient to most everything. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant served wonderful comfort food at a very good value. We will definitely return on a future visit."

"Staff on check in were absolutely lovely. Extremely helpful and went the extra mile for us. My room was great, plenty of space and very clean. Played in the game room with my nephews who loved it, plenty to keep kids entertained. Excellent location to"

"Great hotel loads of history to it. Close to shops. Clean n tidy with friendly staff as soon as you walk in. Great poached egg for breakfast no complaints. Will use again when down that way. ๐๐๐๐๐๐"
