"Another great break at the briers. Ive stayed in the slieve donard, the avoca and the donard. The briers is easily my favourite. Beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, friendly and hospitable staff. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back again before the end of the summer."

The location, surrounding environment, and the room’s facilities can only be described as excellent and delightful—absolutely fantastic! The hostess, Fiona, and her husband, Perry, are both extremely friendly and warm, making you feel right at home in no time. At dawn, the chirping birds under the giant Scottish pine trees gently wake you from a restful night’s sleep, as the distant mountains emerge from the morning mist. "We stayed at Dolly’s Cottage for the weekend while attending a wedding nearby. We were with my parents and our two young children aged 3 and 1.What a fabulous house! The views are stunning and the house is so comfortable and cosy we didn’t want to leave.Maura has thought of everything you could possibly need, it is the best equipped holiday cottage I have ever stayed at. She even had boxes of toys for the children to play with.We had the most wonderful stay and would love to come back again one day!"
