Colac Central Hotel Motel

"We were greeted by a very friendly staff member, after having a chat and completing our check in , we were very happy with our allotted room . The beds were comfortable, the room was clean. A very quiet place to stay within easy walking distance to Lake Colac , botanical gardens and many eateries including the RSL which is across the road. Probably the only complaint as with many motels is the 1 ply toilet paper , nothing that $3 couldn’t fix 😊 We were very happy with our choice to stay here"

"Long line to check in. Would recommend not checking in right on 2pm wait a little for shorter lines. Our room didn’t come with a dedicated parking spot so we had to park further away and walk which wasn’t too bad thankfully it wasn’t raining. Room was clean"
Anchorage Motel and Villas

"We had a one bedroom superior apartment with jetted tub. Our stay was 4 nights The apartment was huge and was well equipped. The bathroom was great with the jetted tub. However the apartment was not the cleanest. There was a furnished balcony with huge sliding doors going out to it but the doors were filthy. The tables in the apartment were all clear glass topped and were not clean. Although the bed sheets were clean the doona cover had stains that obviously could not come out in the wash The fabric sofas were long past their due by date. Very soft and not clean. The location is very central with all shops in walking distance. Self parking included free. The other issue was although the apartment has wifi the signal in the bedroom is non existent. Finally this unit would be fantastic if was looked after property. An update to it would make if great."
Top of the Otways - Country Cottage

"This cottage was exactly what we needed for a weekend away with our dog. The checkin was super easy, communication between Katie and Max was speedy and clear, the kitchen and the house was very well equipped. All of these made the stay feel really cozy. This is definitely a space I’ll consider staying at again as the space was clean and the fireplace, split system and electric blanket was plenty to be sure we were warm! We only needed the fire the time we were there but good to know there are other options for extra cold nights/daysBeing in such a beautiful location like the Otways, our room had a window looking out to incredible views as well as able to see the sheep, goats and chicken. The verandah is so lovely to enjoy watching the fog roll through the valley. Check in was super easy, we were greeted by Max upon arrival and our cottage was warm from the fire. whilst the property has one or even 2 other dwellings, we did not hear or see anyone else during our stay. Location is great, easy drive to go on walks and head down to Apollo bay! Thanks again to Katie and Max for creating a welcoming space!"
