"The rooms are a bit dated, as are the buildings but best place to stay to visit Cradle Mountain with kids. Loved it all! We saw platypus and wombats right outside our room. The restaurant was fabulous and all the staff were very helpful."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Cradle Highlander and wish we could have stayed longer than one night. It is such a charming place - we loved the cosiness of our cabin, especially the wood fire and comfy bed. We also enjoyed the peaceful surrounds and privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to make a nice dinner. If you're looking for an authentic wood cabin experience immersed in native bush, this is it!"

"Managers arranged a place to access the key to my cabin and called me to let me know they would be out of office. Great communication and I always stay in a cabin which is dog friendly and cosy 😊"
