"Was basic not even a thermostat for the room Was told to turn the nob on radiator needs a full refurb travel lodge higher spec don’t do it "

"Nice hotel with an impressive staircase. But our standard room did not have much room when walking around the bed. Bathroom was pleasant and clean and we had a quiet room. However, the sloping floor in our room 134 caused comfort issues on one side of the bed - which is not good for anyone with back/posture issues. Apart from that we liked the hotel. "

"Large room, with ok bed but thin walls. Pub is closed and hotel bar a bit dark and empty. For breakfast they had unbuttered bread under the eggs instead of buttered toast, which was odd. Overall a bit run down, but it is in a good location and there is parking."

"I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. The mugs in the room were also dirty The facilities were surprisingly impressive- a good sized pool and proper gym. We stayed here and spent the first day in Portsmouth and the second day in Chichester. It’s a good and accessible location."

"Just had five nights at Best Western Princes Marine. There is limited free parking so it's a first come basis. Reception was friendly, warm and welcoming. There's a large lift to all floors. My room was a good size with a king sized bed, the room was comfortable and well appointed, as was the bathroom. Breakfast has a great selection to choose from. It's the kind of place I like as staff hover in the background rather than being overly present. This is the sort of hotel that would suit singles, couples, family's. There is disabled access in and around the hotel. I highly recommend their restaurant Chilli & Mango which is also open to non-patrons. I wouldn't hesitate to come back on my next visit."

"Spa was amazing, I had a back massage which was so nice. The rooms could do with a bit of a touch up as some of the decor is bit tired now. Also Air conditioning would be a benefit we did have a fan but the room was so hot."
