"Fern Grotto Inn was perfect for us! We felt like we stepped back in time away from the hustle and glitz of modernity while providing all the comforts and supplies we could want. We chose this place because of the kayaks/river, and it was a highlight of the trip! Full size fully stocked washer and dryer, snorkel masks, beach chairs, well-equipped kitchen, dreamy mangos right off the tree, friendly staff. The east side location provided easy access for a day on the north shore or heading south to Waimea canyon. Walked to Lydgate Park to watch the sunrise every morning. We would absolutely stay here again! "

The Tiki Bar, delicious, upbeat, and a great place to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. Two pools and a great place for families."

"Everything was great, only one issue. Headboard needs to be mounted to the wall or to the bed frame. Every time you roll over it makes a banging sound. Other than that, amazing views and amazing time. Pool is great, location was perfect. Great times."
