"Unbeknownst to me my room was aligned with the valet parking spaces and main entrance to the hotel. Through out the night until they filled those spots all I heard was the car alarms for opening and closing and sitting the alarm’s for these vehicles. Then it started back up as early as 6 am beeping alarms to opening of these cars doors. I don’t believe that this was a first time that the hotel has been made aware of this and it’s not an ideal room to have your balcony literally on the main entrance and there valet parking right outside your door. The room was clean and comfortable it just wasn’t a vacation type atmosphere because it was irritating to have to put up with such a unnecessary noise."

"Amazing view and close to a lot of fun things, including restaurants and beach clubs. There was a portable air conditioner in the bedroom that was a life saver. Be careful if u close the slider to patio, it will lock u out. Luckily my wife was inside lol. The pool was great and rarely had anyone using it. Bbq's were very nice for Happy hour and dinner."

"Our 4 day / 3 night anniversary stay at the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort was extremely disappointing from start to finish. On our very first morning, we woke up to a flooded hotel room. Our clothes, luggage, and personal belongings were soaked. Instead of immediately helping resolve the issue, the staff gave us a hard time when we requested assistance getting our clothes and luggage dried. We were promised a new room right away, yet it took nearly 8 hours before we were finally moved. This completely ruined the plans we had made for our anniversary day. Sitting around waiting most of the day while dealing with water damage to our belongings is not how anyone expects to spend a vacation in Hawaii. What made the experience even worse was the complete lack of accountability or customer service afterward. No compensation, apology gesture, waived fees, or any attempt to make things right was offered. Then, upon checkout, we were still charged additional resort and parking fees despite everything we had dealt with during our stay. For the price paid and the reputation of this resort, the level of service and response to a major issue like a flooded room was unacceptable. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, especially for what was supposed to be a special anniversary trip."

"We had a wonderful stay! The sound of the ocean waves was constant and little more than expected, the view was absolutely amazing, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions. Highly recommend!"
