"We moved to Hanalei Bay Resort mid-vacation and wow are we happy we did ! True resort with lively swim/snorkel beach, restaurants and bar on site, beautiful immaculate private lodging with full kitchen and A/C and the most comfortable bed- HB Resort is truly that- a destination resort- with the most gorgeous grounds, tennis, pickle ball and truly amazing lagoon pool - beautiful views as well! Delicious food at both restaurants, easy parking and check in- staff were so helpful and stayed in touch via text during our stay- highly r recommend - a perfect vacation"

"This is a beautiful property. All high end amenities. Our only suggestion is to get some better beach chairs and umbrellas. Only 2 chairs were working and 2 of the 3 umbrellas were also broken. The location is close to the beach and the Mountain View’s from the house are spectacular. On Saturday, there was a great little market across the street. Hanelei is walkable. You can’t go wrong staying here."

The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the beach as well as all the Hanaelei businesses. The traditional Hawaiian feeling of the home was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The AC in each of the rooms was great and we all used the outdoor shower over the indoor shower the entire time! And the value of this rental just can't be beat for this area. I've been to Kauai several times and will absolutely rent this home again on my next trip!"

If you’re looking for peace, relaxation, and the authentic beauty of Kauai, this is it. The location is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the lush mountains, listening to the waves, and enjoying the cool trade winds made every day feel like paradise. The climate was perfect for us—comfortable temperatures, fresh ocean breezes, and just enough tropical rain to keep everything incredibly green and beautiful. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Every interaction made us feel like valued guests, and their hospitality added so much to our experience. We completely fell in love with Hanalei and the North Shore. The slower pace of life, stunning scenery, amazing food, and friendly people made it incredibly difficult to leave. It was exactly the kind of relaxing vacation we had hoped for. Hanalei Colony Resort provided the perfect escape from busy everyday life. Whether we were enjoying the views from our lanai, exploring the area, or simply unwinding, every moment felt peaceful and rejuvenating. We are already planning our return trip next year.
